The Unsolved Murder
of Arnold Schuster
Arnold Schuster was a Brooklyn clothing salesman and
amateur detective, known for his involvement in the capture of
the notorious bank robber Willie "The Actor" Sutton and
for subsequently being the victim of a gangland murder by the Gambino
crime family.
Arnold Schuster was murdered outside of his home on March
8th, 1952. He was shot twice

Robber Willie "The Actor" Sutton
Willie Sutton was
a notorious thief and bank robber. During his forty year criminal
career he stole an estimated $2 million dollars, and
eventually
spent more
than half of his adult life in prison. For his style of executing
robberies in disguises, he gained two nicknames, "Willie the
Actor" and "Slick Willie." In February 1952, Sutton
was captured by police after having been recognized on a subway
and followed by Arnold Schuster. Read

Frederick Tenuto The
Angel of Death. FBI Most Wanted
Frederick Tenuto was
a career criminal believed by many to be the man that murdered
Arnold Schuster. He escaped from prison in 1947
and appeared on the FBI's most wanted list. After
the death of Arnold Schuster he was never seen nor heard from
again. According to Joseph
Valachi's testimony Tenuto was murdered by Albert
Anastasia to keep him silent and to remove any
ties to the ordered murder of Arnold Schuster. Read
